For regions where they are heavily in use, InfoFort has developed Cheques Storage & Management Service that help the Banking Industry or Financial Institutes in managing the flow, disbursement storage and digitization of Cheques (post dated or others).
How it Works
- Collection – InfoFort securely collects and transports your cheques from branches or hub locations.
- Registration – Cheques received through a specially designed process to ensure accuracy. cheques can be individually bar-coded and passed through a special scanner which reads the MICR number while capturing the image.
- Information Capture – All details of the cheques are captured in compliance with ICCS requirements and directives of the central Bank.
- Storage – Special fireproof cabinets are used to store the cheques after sorting them out based on different strategies and customer requirements.
- Retrieval – Cheques are pulled 48 hours prior to their maturity and are presented to the institute. They can also be accessed on an adhoc basis.
